A classic garden in Litchfield Hills
Described as a garden that is formal in structure but informal and rather wild in the style of planting, Hollister House Garden is Connecticut's own take on a unique English garden. Covering 25 acres of Litchfield Hills, the Hollister House Garden compliments the 18th century English house. Open from May to September, you will get to appreciate the flowers in bloom because of the cooler climate. A donation of $5 per person is requested to help keep the garden in its full beauty.
You will adore the daffodils, tulips, forget-me-nots, roses and peonies in this humble garden. Watch out for September because they have an Autumn Plant Sale that flower enthusiasts will surely love.
