The Garden of Ideas is a privately owned garden located in Ridgefield, Connecticut. This unique garden is home to many plant species as well as to many outdoor art installations. The Garden of Ideas is eight acres of marsh, woodland, meadow and vegetable plots maintained by the husband and wife team of Joseph Keller and Ilsa Svendsen.
Go on a self-directed stroll or join their educational and adventure programs, you'll be guaranteed a relaxing day. Though privately owned, you can visit the garden for free. Donations are accepted, though. It's open all year round but the best time to visit this Connecticut garden is in May and October. Your kids will also enjoy here. Join the "Find the Garden Gnome" game and you and your kids will definitely have fun!
